Definitely, if your on a pc that is, i'm on a mac and it'll never be ported across....

Have a look at imageline's new plug in - gross beat!

I think you'd be suitably impressed!

Got time in the basement tomorrow to start delving into BLU again, gonna strip out what i don't need first though to leave it cleaner for my own rebuild!

Cheers

It's been a while since I did my initial edits to Moldovers BLU, but  I think in the end I turfed the STAC bit.

I hacked the scratch function down to something really simple. It's good enough for my needs (which rarely involve much scratching - just a quick scratch forward or scratch back sound, then back to my track) but maybe not good enough for yours.

I set it up so there's a 'scratch-on' button. If I hold that it's like I suddenly put my fingers on the record and stopped it. Then I can scratch 'up' or 'down' by holding the keys to either side. Up is an accelerating scratch, down is a deccelerating one. If either key is held long enough it's like a tape recorder zipping forward or back at high speed, and doesn't sound very scratchy anymore, but used briefly, these combos are good for that 'I just gave the record a tweak' effect.

You mean for the "i'm really playing records honest" kind of sound!

Wow, do I stand corrected. The juggles are essentially just two loopers, one forward and one reverse. Probably several ways to control these, though I haven't figured out how to map the Kaoss Pad to the juggles as of yet.

OK...inside the the keycontrol you will find the_Gate(B)_ this is attached to _Action_  Inside "action" you will find 2 things Ack & Value

Copy these and past both twice into the JumpAction Macro. Proceed to connect these the same way it was hooked up in the Gate action macro.

Now when you go out side of the Jump action macro you will see that the Jumpaction Macro has 2 new input labeled Ack. connect both to the StpFlt that the GateAction is connected.

Now you have both the jump points quantized. To create extra jump points. duplicate the Jump action macro and wire it exactly like the original...then change the midi note for each to its own note...

Took me a minute or so, but sure enough it worked. Thank you!

I'm up to 16 jump points nows but cant get individual control of the speed and length of each??

Anyone got any ideas? I've seperated all the controls but they effectively overide each other so i can only have two different lengths and speeds....

Im no expert in reaktor but Im pretty sure the problem is outside of the keycontrol. When clist originally made blu it only came with 2 jump points. So even though you have added 14 more jump points in the keycontrol, you dont actually have 16 physical jump points. All you have is 16 different locations that the 2 original jump points can now jump to. hens the reason only 2 of the 16 can actually be modified.

Dont ask me how to solve the problem...I gave up on that a while ago. :-\

Yeah i've given up now as well, i set a couple of faders to speed with a couple of encoders to length and you can get some pretty funky effects going.....

Sorry, what's the question these days? This thread is kinda hard to follow. If you can summarise exactly what you want to achieve in BLU that's not there now, I might have a poke.

ok found out that the lowest keys activate 1-8 jumps on moldovers version.

now i am getting closer to holy grail...

looking for 1-16 with on/off quantize button. anyone given it a shot, pulled it off, and perhaps be willing to enlighten us?
