Gutting and modifying Oxygen 8
« on: June 16, 2008, 05:30:43 AM »
Just wondered, whether, other than anyone has had a go at modifying an existing controller - such as the Oxygen 8.

I have a novation Remote 25SL, which i'd like to keep as it is, bar a few minor modifications to the faders / pots.

Wondered how easy it would be to rip the guts out of an Oxygen 8, or other similarly cheap controller and put this into a new case.. convert some of the keys to pads or arcade buttons / faders or the like.

If anyone has any stories, or tips of modifying existing hardware, i'd love to hear them :)

Trademark of ECC and I have both modded OX8's

it's quite easy! I highly recommend it.
