I guarantee, there's nothing wrong with any part of BLU

It's just that it's a complicated ensemble, in Reaktor, which is already a reasonably difficult program. BLU always needs at least a tiny bit of customisation to suit your setup. There are tons of things you can fail to do, any one of which might stop you getting sound, or being able to press buttons to make things work etc. You just have to keep checking them all til it works, and be attentive. Pretty much all the mistakes you can make are now covered on this site.
The two biggest ones we keep seeing are:
1. People don't pipe their midi into BLU by creating midi tracks to do so within Live. This means it doesn't matter what they press, the commands never reach BLU.
2. They can't find the 'Sel Gate' blocks in the ensemble that you have to change and midi map to your own midi controller, to get it to respond to you.
Both of these problems covered at more length in this other topic:
http://controllerism.net/forum/index.php/topic,68.0.htmlI wasn't quite sure what Monosybalik did, something to make the midi mapping more accessible to himself, but I guarantee it's easy to just change the 'Sel Gates' as soon as you know how. The main trick can be finding them, or the ones attached to the controls you want to hack. But again, this is discussed in that other topic.
Moldover suggested it'd be easier to start with a fresh copy of BLU rather than his edit, but I have to admit I found his already modified version better suited to my purposes.
