Hey, so I'm making assignments for an Edirol Pcr-800 (

The controller has 18 buttons in two rows under 9 knobs on the left side of the keyboard, with a crossfader in the middle and 9 regular faders off to the right. I'm planning on using the keyboard to play live, but I could definitely sacrifice some keys. There is also a joystick style pitch bend/ mod with springs to center the stick. I'm just getting started and don't know what I'll end up using the most (placement concerns and such) or which type of controls would be best suited to different effects. Any suggestions for good "workhorse" parameters in ableton?
